Okay, that was cute - goog job. don't beat yourself up - let it go and move on! I'm proud of you for making the best of a very, very, very difficult situation. Hypnosis...you are getting sleepy, you do not like cigarettes, you get sick at the though of smoking cigarettes....each night when you sleep you will envision yourself living a clean life without those nasty buggers...you have the power, you are Super woman! YOU CAN DO IT! ...and I'll be here (way over here ) supporting you.
ahh shucks...I was hoping that it was all a big joke...then I read you mum's comment and realized it was real...NOT just a bad dream. Oh well...shit happens...it's called life sometimes...just pick yourself up, wipe yourself off and move on! AND it doesn't mean that you are starting all over again just cause you had one slip-up...you are much further along in the game now so just keep moving. In time you will pick up the speed and feel like it is NORMAL to NOT have a cigarette. This too shall pass ;)
Me too, me too. I found out those patches are a tremendous help even though they don't really SEEM like they are doing anything. They are. Giving up the wine that goes with the cigarettes might have been harder. Day 28 now. Hang in there!
Oh that brings back memories. I remember counting drags when I was quiting. Only allowing myself so many. Now I think cigarettes are the grossest thing ever! Good Luck.
That was cute. I am lucky in that I have never been a smoker and never had to deal with quitting. I have had food addictions though and when I had do diet and try not to give into cravings it was very difficult. I would beat myself up over slipping and binging until I learned a healthier way to do things. Now I feel better, I don't feel deprived and I am 40 pounds lighter. :) Just take each day as it comes, do what you can and remember you are human you know? Good luck to you!

ReplyDeleteLove you!!
Don't be too hard on yourself. It was a temporary setback, but don't let it be a permanent setback.
ReplyDeleteYou can do it!

ReplyDeleteHaving never been a smoker I'm sure that I have no concept of how hard this really must be, but hang in there. I'm sure you can do it!
ReplyDeleteYes, hang in there!
ReplyDeleteWell that was one of the most adorable things I've seen all week! Great job!
ReplyDeleteWe're (assuming we're part of the 'everyone' you mentioned) not disappointed. We ARE supportive.
My favorite was the 'aaaaaahh' in the toilet. Awesome!
Hang in there, it isn't easy.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to quit. Don't let a slip discourage you.
ReplyDeleteOh, this sounds hard! Courage! Hang in there!
ReplyDelete(I'm popping over from The Girl Next Door)
Over from the writing challenge! Hang in there! I'm going out to have a smoke myself, after all these pics, lol.

ReplyDeleteI just wish you the best of luck!!! I know it is hard. I have done it a few times myself, but it is worth it in the end... I think :-)
